Charming Szechuan Restaurant @ Bundusan, Penampang

Hello december and my fellow readers:)
I guess it's been a while since my last post here..I've been busy lately with assignments and school projects..i do feel bad for abandon-ing my blog for a while..but heyyy, i'm back now! haha
So just now i went for a lunch at Charming Szechuan Restaurant with Ukie and her two friends.
This restaurant is located near Foh Chuan Restaurant at Bundusan.
Serious shit, I never knew there is another chinese shop besides Mui Hiong and Foh Chuan near Unirazak..The shop is tinted outside so i don't think people will notice it's actually a restaurant.
haha thanks to Ukie and her friends for inviting me to have lunch with them today.
From the shop name, i think it is obvious that this shop serves Szechuan cuisine right?
But frankly, i don't even know any Szechuan food except for Kung Pao Chicken, so its hard for me to identify if they really serves good Szechuan food. I only know that most Szechuan food is spicy?
But overall, i think the food is not that bad,i just DON'T like their worker attitude.
Dear Charming Szechuan Restaurant Laupan aka Bos, please employ someone with good manners laa..
Anyway, since it's my first time eating lunch there, i'm not sure what to order..
I just follow my friends to take the set lunch since all of them are taking set lunch too.
I ordered Set Lunch A : Salad Chicken that comes with rice, vegetables, soup and chinese tea.
The set lunch costs only RM7.50 without tax and service charge, so i think it's reasonable and quite cheap compared to other chinese restaurant nearby. For more information, check out the pictures. Btw, total paid for lunch for 4 people is RM30 :)

 By the way, this restaurant has a air-conditioner..i think the only restaurant that has aircon in Bundusan area.

Well...looks delicious huh? it looked like shark fins/ fish maw soup but it's just a simple plain soup with eggs,tofu and sesame oil. haha well i think the soup presentation is much better than MSG  soup right?

Baby bought me my favorite chocolate, Daim from labuan~ hehe but too bad i'm on diet right now, i only eat some of it and i think most of it i gave it my college's friends :)

"Kopi Sejuk and Hot Bun" Kedai Kopi Sin Hin @ Donggongon, Penampang

Kopi sejuk only RM1.40!!(MUST TRY!)

Oh, kopi sejuk + hot bun = YUM! :D
So have you been to this place before? Sin Hin coffee shop is located at Donggongon, Penampang opposite Megalong Mall or one row with Agro Bank. I guess you can easily spot the shop :D
FYI, there is another Kedai Kopi Sin Hin which is located at Inanam area...i'm not sure about the location but i will update soon okay? :D
Kedai Kopi Sin Hin is specialized in hot bun and kopi sejuk( Cold Coffee).
Okay, just incase if you never been to this shop before and you are wondering what's so special about "kopi sejuk"? Well, it taste like a normal coffee to me but they serves the coffee in a quite unique way, in the beer bottle. :D okaylah, unique or not,its up2you to judge then~
Anyway, you can find some other stalls "tumpang" selling Chicken rice, Laksa Kuching, Porridge, Economy rice and so on....We ordered 1 kopi sejuk, chinese tea, buttermilk bun, peanut bun and Polo Bun(take away). Total paid for this is RM5. Then, baby ordered another 2 Chicken rice with Lap chong+Sau Nyuk for me and Stew pork for himself. Total paid is RM12! amazingly cheap huh? Check out the picture..

 You can also try their coconut bun, tausa/red bean bun, pandan bun and other pau :D

i forgot to eat my polo bun that day :( *someone* kasih habis my polo bun. ;p

 Lap chong+ Sau Nyuk~ well, overall it taste like a normal pork meat.But i don't really like the sau nyuk..abit tasteless.

Babi rebus~hehe it was okay,very meaty and juicy :D

Dim sum from some chinese shop there. hmm, overall it was eat-able but it was not as good as normal dim sum.

Sailors' Cafe @ Grand Millennium Plaza, Penampang

Finally i got the chance to eat at Sailors' yesterday for dinner! haha am i the only one yang #ketinggalan here?? haha anyway, I first heard about this place from my boyfriend. He dine here before with his family, probably last year? Well anyway he told me that the food was okay, taste like other normal western food but the burger was delicious. and recently, my friend, Esther post a blog about this place. She upload some pictures on her blog and the food looks delicious.
Fyi, Sailors' Cafe is located at Lot 36, 1st Floor in Grand Millennium Plaza, Penampang.
It serves western food mostly and i think the price is more reasonable compared to Upperstar, Brass Monkey and etc.
and the good thing is, there is no tax and service charge at all:D
By the way we invite one special guest, Johannes to have dinner with us last night :D

 They also have very unique way to decorate their restaurant:) Check this out!

 Jo said " Bagus saya pun ada tu poster di bilik lah. eh tiamaulah, kalo sa ada means saya pun ugly lah ni "haha i didn't say anything or make fun of you ahh, you say it yourself. :D

it's a giant colourful teddy bear!. too bad we sit outside.:(

 Baby ordered double cheese burger for dinner, RM16. One word : yum! it smells so good and i love the fries especially! He was hungry actually, but he couldn't finish the fries because it's a bit too salty for him :D so i ate his leftover fries :/

4/5 for Sailors' double cheese burger!

Jo's Crispy Battered Chicken with rice. RM14
It was not bad.i  taste the chicken, it was good. it's not too oily and the chicken meat is tender. i think the white sauce make it taste better.

I give 4/5 rating also for jo's choice:)

 Both of them start eating already, but my food not yet arrive :(

 Finally~ my beef bolognaise ( RM11). The pasta was okay, its quite good. but i think it's too creamy and cheesy. haha my baby ate my leftover pasta:D

For my pasta, i give 3.5 / 5 rating
