I went to Foh Sang for brunch with baby just now before he go to work..hehe lazy la him~
I think since may or june, i started to woke up late..like around 1-3pm sometimes. Well, thats because i slept around 4-5am. But usually i woke up at 12 plus. is that normal for people around my age?? I don't know why i couldn't sleep early sometimes, insomnia perhaps? haha so I wasted my days by sleeping and doing nothing productive at all besides online, watch movies, eat and play games..
Oh well, back to the topic, so just now i met baby for brunch at Kedai Kopi Lai Heng Baru, Foh sang. The shop is located next to TOTO and one row with KFC shop.
Kedai Kopi Lai Heng Baru is best known for selling Ngau Chap.
In case that you don't know what the hell is Ngau Chap ( Cantonese) or Ngiu Chap ( Hakka) is actually a Beef Noodles served together with beef bowls, beef slices, tripe and tendons.
It's been a while since my last visit to this shop, i think that was years ago with my family. And the reason why i barely go here because it's VERY hard to find a parking during breakfast- lunch time hour. We order 2 Ngau Chap Men and 2 chinese tea for brunch.
The food is served very fast, well done :)
I like the soup! The soup is very fragrant and light, plus it's not oily at all. Also the beef ball and beef slices is quite meaty and not fat. FYI, this shop served no pork since beef noodles/kon lau/oxtail herbal soup the only menu available there. I saw few muslim aunties tapau from this shop just now, so it supposed to be halal. However, im not so sure how the food is prepared by them.
Anyway, I think this shop will be my second favourite spot for ngau chap besides the one in Gaya Street. Click here for the review Kedai Kopi New Man Tai.
By the way, the ngau chap is only available from morning until late afternoon. At night, the shop is open but no ngau chap available.
Price starts from RM5.50 to RM8.50. Oh by the way, the oxtail herbal soup is only available on sunday! :)
Total paid for brunch is RM12.
Try here, i bet you wont regret it :)
Overall rating;
Food and Drinks : 5/5
Services : 5/5 ( very fast!)
Pricing : From RM5.50 to RM8.50!
